To the website of Abbey Mitchell, a dancer and choreographer, based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Abbey is a graduate of the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA)completing her Bachelor of Arts -Dance in 2008.

Abbey is a founding member of Visible Dance, Perth’s newest contemporary dance company. She was also an original member of Anything Is Valid Dance Theatre (AIVDT)also based in Perth, both groups have an interest of broadening Perth’s Arts scene.

With a particular interest in audience engagement,
Abbey is a creative and intelligent choreographer with a gift for groundbreaking staging technique and a strong desire to bring dance to a broader range of society.

Abbey has just finished working with Sue Healey on a new work which was performed in late November in the Jeff Gibbs Theatre, Perth.
